The journey began in 1965 during the Pakistan era in the heart of Chaktai, Chattogram, when the late Ahmad Ali established Ahmadiya Salt Crushing Factory. After the independence of Bangladesh, the factory was renamed Bangladesh Salt Crushing Factory.
Bangladesh Salt is collected directly from the salt fields and purified without any chemicals. The purification process is done only with salted water, after which the salt is crystallized into coarse grains and naturally dried. This process helps preserve the essential minerals naturally present in sea salt, which are beneficial for the human body.
